Stainless Steel Cap for Speidel Fermenters

This grommeted cap is an inexpensive and better alternative for your lost or damaged $10 Speidel airlock/bung. It is designed to fit all sizes and models of Speidel 304 stainless steel fermenters. Unlike the standard orange Speidel bung/airlock that merely presses into the opening at the top of the Speidel plastic fermenter or storage tank, this grommeted cap screws into the opening and locks in place, eliminating the risk of it getting knocked off the fermenter.

Please note that Speidel tanks and fermenters come with only one lock ring as part of the spigot. To attach this grommeted cap, you will need an additional lock ring, which is part of the Speidel OEM spigot.

This grommeted cap allows you to free up your original Speidel airlock/bung for active, primary fermentations, and then use this cap with a low-evaporative S-Shaped airlock for secondary fermentation or aging.

The 1/2" diameter blow-off tube accepts a standard 1/2" inner diameter hose, and the entire assembly is constructed with 304 stainless steel and food-grade rubber, ensuring durability and safety for your brewing process.
