Designed to fit all models and sizes of Speidel plastic fermenters, the Speidel Fermenter Blow-Off Tube with 14" Thermowell is manufactured by NorCal Brewing Solutions of Redding, California. This stainless steel blow-off tube features a 14-inch long thermowell welded in place, allowing for the proper blow-off of high-gravity beer, wine, and other fermented beverages, as well as the ability to monitor the internal temperature.
The 1/2-inch diameter blow-off tube is compatible with standard 1/2-inch inner diameter hoses, and the overall height above the fermenter is just 3 inches, compared to the 6 inches of the standard Speidel airlock and bung. The tube includes a custom-manufactured silicone "V-groove" gasket (SKU# 3064) for superior leak-free attachment, replacing the standard rubber gasket provided by Speidel.
The thermowell is 3/8 inches in outer diameter, 1/4 inches in inner diameter, and 14 inches in length, allowing for accurate temperature monitoring during the fermentation process. It is constructed from 304 stainless steel, ensuring durability and corrosion resistance.
Please note that while the Speidel fermenter is used for illustration purposes, it is not included with the purchase of the Blow-Off Tube. Additionally, Speidel tanks and fermenters come with one lock ring as part of the spigot. To attach this Blow-Off Tube, you will need an additional lock ring, which is part of the Speidel OEM Spigot (SKU# 2807).
