The NorCal Brewing Solutions Speidel Transfer Tool is designed for use with any plastic Speidel fermenter or storage tank larger than 12 liters (3.2 gallons). It is constructed entirely of 304 Stainless Steel and can be used with compressed gases such as CO2 or Nitrogen to rack liquid from the Speidel vessel to any other container.
The Adjustable Racking Cane, which is 29 inches in length and has a 0.5-inch outer diameter, can accept any type of 0.5-inch inner diameter hose. The pass-through compression fitting on the cane can slide up and down, allowing it to be adjusted to fit any size Speidel fermenter or tank. A high-temperature O-ring inside the compression fitting prevents liquid and gas from passing through.
The Transfer Tool Body slides up and down the racking cane while holding a custom-drilled #8.5 Stopper (included) in place. This allows for a secure and tight seal during the transfer process.
The CO2 Ball Lock Connector on the tool enables users to quickly connect and disconnect a standard "Gas In" barbed or flared Ball Lock (not included) to the compressed gas source, allowing for a seamless racking or transfer operation.
