NorCal Brewing Solutions proudly offers this 304 stainless steel thermowell with grommet, custom-designed to fit all models and sizes of Speidel plastic fermenters and plastic storage tanks. The thermowell is 14 inches long, with a 5/16-inch inner opening, capable of accommodating large thermocouplers. This innovative product allows you to have both an airlock and a thermowell on top of your Speidel fermenter.
The rubber grommet snaps into the 1/2-inch drilled hole, allowing you to use standard 3/8-inch airlocks, including the "Double Bubble" S-shaped airlocks and the 3-piece "barrel" airlocks. This thermowell replaces the stock Speidel plastic airlock/bung assembly, providing a superior leak-free performance.
Included with the thermowell is a custom-manufactured silicone "V-groove" gasket, which replaces the standard rubber gasket provided by Speidel. This gasket ensures a secure and leak-free attachment to the fermenter.
Please note that Speidel tanks and fermenters come with one lock ring as part of the spigot. To attach this thermowell, you will need an additional lock ring, which is part of the Speidel OEM Spigot (SKU# 2807).
